It really gave me a better, and more profound understanding of the sufferings, the plights, and the life of slaves, and the Africans that existed in such times, butml more interesting is the fact that things like that don't exist anymore, or at least isn't as flagrant as it was then. More than just being a movie about slavery, this is a story about the life, the sufferings, and the eventual triumph of one slave... Solomon Northrop. |
